Juno Online Review

Juno Online is a nationwide ISP offering consumers a choice of excellent and reliable dial-up Internet access packages. Juno provides safe and reliable access that is available in both the U.S. & Canada. Both Juno's dial-up access (Platinum) and hi-speed accelerated (SpeedBand) are excellent and reliable services.

They also offer a free service that is limited to 10 hours per household each month. Juno Platinum Internet service offers a value-priced high-quality Internet connection for less than half the price ($9.95) of other Internet Services Providers, including AOL, EarthLink and MSN.

Price
Platinum service is offered by Juno for $9.95 per month, which is over 60% less expensive than a similar AOL package. If a faster connection is required, the Juno Speedband is available for $14.95 - which is still 40% less expensive than a much slower AOL. Accompanied with this is their free service that allows for ten hours of free service per household per month.

Trial Period
At Juno Online, you can receive your first month free when applying for their Platinum service package. This is a great advantage over other ISPs that offer nothing in terms of a trial period.

Setup
Juno has created its own downloadable software with SpeedBand. Using existing Juno Platinum technology, it can be easily and quickly downloaded. With a credit card, a user can get instant access to the software, allowing for a swift and effective setup.

Access Numbers
Juno Platinum & Speedband have fast, reliable connections and thousands of access numbers (over 50,000 in the U.S. and Canada, to be exact!) Busy signals are rare, and with all the access numbers available for your disposal, they can be easily switched, giving you instant access to the net anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.

Tech Support
Juno SpeedBand has a large online "knowledge base" of FAQs, troubleshooting and set-up issues. If you require live technical support via the telephone, it is not included in the standard monthly price and will cost a per-minute charge. This is a disadvantage when some ISPs offer telephone service for free.

Computer Skills Required
Beginners can set-up Juno Speedband without any assistance. If you are not afraid of downloading and installing software, easy, pictorial walkthroughs will help you in the installation process.

Email Addresses
Juno Online only offers 1 e-mail address with its internet service packages. This is a great disadvantage when some ISPs offer several e-mail accounts. On the other hand, they do include a free junk e-mail filtering service that removes unwanted e-mails from your account.

Cancellation
At Juno Online, you can cancel your account at any time without the fear of a penalty.
