Price
Toast.net's basic plan at 56K (6X accelerator is included for free) is available for as low as $9.95/month (when you prepay for a year in advance you get $2 per month off the price of the package). They also offer plans in ISDN and DSL services. Toast has 19,000 local access numbers in most major centers in the United States. No contract is required for this service, and those who are looking for low-cost alternatives to Net Zero, AOL Online and MSN ISP may find the plans offered by Toast attractive. Prepay for a year and save $2.00 per month on all plans!

Trial Period
With Toast.net, you can use their services for $1 per month for first 2 months in order to see if they are the right ISP for you.

Setup
Free setup is offered at Toast.net. No technical expertise is required with the Toast dialup plans, although you will have to install their accelerator software for hi-speed dialup. You can also customize the start page to include items such as stock portfolio, news feeds and more personal data.

Access Numbers
Toast has over 24,000 local access numbers, which is ideal for anyone traveling in the United States. They have a "no busy signal" policy. Although the majority of U.S. cities are covered, there are no access numbers outside of the U.S.

Tech Support
Toast.net offers several ways in which you can access their support team. Toll Free telephone technical support is available for free or you can use e-mail or instant chat. A toll-free number is provided for any live customer support issues, which is a huge bonus compared to most providers. We have received good feedback about the Toast support team. You can also fax or send regular mail to the Toast.net team at addresses provided on their website.

Computer Skills Required
Users with little technical knowledge or computer expertise can use Toast.net, as their setup process is relatively simple, and the software is easy to install.

Email Addresses
Toast.net offers only one e-mail account. This is a disadvantage, as most other ISPs offer several accounts that you can use at relatively the same price.

Cancellation
There are no contracts with Toast (unless you take advantage of the $2 per month off for a one year contract), so you can cancel the service at any time without penalties. Simply use their online form to cancel the service at any time.
